Trouble shooting

UV-light is not working – no blue light in top window ?

Check that the UV-light has been turned on (short press UV top button on panel is on/off) and no limits made in App timer setting.
If more than six months old the lamp might need to be replaced.
If still no light the Electric UV cover might need to be replaced.

During regular maintenance check for moist or drops inside the quartz.
This indicates to high working pressure for the filter, which might damage the filter – open Quartz and leave it to dry before refitting.
For overwintering we recommend that You leave quartz disconnected from electric supply (ventilated) as any moist during this long period might cause rust in the electric parts.

The filter is running but my water is green?

Check that the pump and filter have been properly matched for the pond size.

Check that the UV-light has been turned on (short press UV top button on panel is on/off) and is running 24 hours per day (no limits in App timer setting).
If more than six months old the lamp might need to be replaced. Normally a quality lamp like Pondteam HQ2, will last for at least 6000 hours.
Check that the quartz sleeve is clean and clear to allow the UV light to penetrate the water.

If filter sponges are difficult to clean or worn out, replace old sponges for new a.s.a.p.

PLEASE NOTE…
Depending on stock level of fish and dirt in the pond, the sponges normally last 5 – 9 months.
If Your sponges are already worn out in a few months, it might be due to Your filter operating on to high pressure (To powerful pump or lack of cleaning).
Build up of dirt will cause sponges to be pressed together and limit the rotating cleaning function.
Instead of a firm press of about 6 cm. – the rotor will only have a few cm.
This will tear the sponges and not clean the filter in an efficient way, so it is very important with regular cleaning and a working pressure recommended at max. 0,1 bar (= 1 m. head).
